Barefoot Luxury is the way we love to travel. You get to this amazingly designed hotel, filling your eyes and scents with the most beautiful surroundings, but you get to enjoy it with the ease of the feeling of being barefoot at your house with the confortable company of your best friends. Jodie and Chris chose the Hotel Kruijd in the land of South Africa for their Wedding Day with this focus in mind, a place that they can enjoy the best farm to table meal, (Lovely Tina Maritz cooks everything with the food she grows in Kruijd garden), the best organization and most beautiful background (Hannes, from Kraak Wedding Planner company managed the event) with the most relax environment around.

If we are honest, this venue is one of our favorites in the World. It even has a river to bath during the day! When you want tea, the staff gives you a basquet for you to pick up the fresh leaves from the garden to make your personalized tea. You have walks around the near forest that can have dozens of monkeys as company, all toped with the most well decorated main house and rooms. Naturally, when hearing their idea for the day, we could not say no! The couple, own Singita Luxury Safari Lodges, a Hotel that works saving thousands of animals by buying land to protect them in. A plus for us to work together, if you know how much we love animals!

The day was very relax and easy, starting with a hand was ritual, very common in the area. The ceremony was in the shade and cozy area of the land mixing more architecture pieces mix with flowers, from Fleur Le Cordeur (beautiful and creative Heike). Aperitivo was around the pond of the property, with the most amazing food displayed we have seen in a while and dinner was held inside the main building to achieve a vibe of coziness with neutral tones and minimal decor, with a family-style experience.

The most incredible part of the Wedding, was the revelation of a mirror cube in the middle of the field to held the party. So photogenic, so minimalistic and so beautifully unique.
