ANAIS & SIMON
Portugal is one of our favorite countries ever. As soon as you arrive to the Algarve area, you immediately get relaxed. Chill. With flow. The local people are so nice and friendly you feel at home, and the Pasteis de Nata starts coming our way, and don't ever stop until we go back home. We know, we have a problem with those sweets. So, whenever we have the chance to visit the area for work, we get super happy, but this special Wedding stole our hearts, even more than Portugal itself. Anais and Simon live in New York, and have been together for 5 year. Simon proposed to her at the Museum of Natural History of New York, and as they love traveling so much, they wanted a Destination Wedding. Their aunt lives in this amazing, estructural, white heaven she calls home near Cacela Vehla, and it was where it all happened. The minute we enter the property with our campervan, we thought, this is the house of our dreams, with light bouncing all the walls, corridors with endless columns, a pool with the ocean view and a exquisite decoration.
We always think that having a destination wedding is the best plan ever, as you get to spend a lot more time with your love ones, in a different environment than normal, and share lots more memories. That is what Anais and Simon did. We started the week with an amazing stroll around the house and the beach to capture their love and free spirits. The next days, we had an crazy fun day in the beach, where you had to get to in a boat, and played volleyball, sunbath, ate super fresh delicious food and chilled; and the day before the Wedding, a welcome dinner with the sunset behind in the old town of Cacela Vehla. WEDDING DAY
The Wedding day was so special! Anais and Simon got ready with their friends in separate rooms, in a very chill mood with beers and laughs. Before the ceremony begin, Anaïs and her dear father had a good shot of Whisky to calm the nerves, which we think it works better than anything else! The ceremony was held in the middle of old and beautiful trees, with a decoration based on fruits and raw materials. They had drinks around the pool and the dinner set up around the house, which was so photogenic, it looked like a fairytale. And the party ended up in the pool!
